Description
Český Sternberk Castle perching on cliffs in the romantic and wooded valley above the Sázava river occupies a leading position among medieval Gothic castles in our country. Its interiors, housing valuable art collections, were adapted in the Late Gothic and Early Baroque style and are richly decorated with stucco works. Nowadays the castle is in possession of the counts of the Šternberks again.
